普瑞特艺术学校

普瑞特艺术学院（Pratt Institute），成立于1887年，是位于美国纽约市的一所艺术学校，它是一所应用艺术型学校（APPLIED ART），是美国领军层次的设计类院校之一。

普瑞特培养了众多的艺术类人才，其中不乏知名画家、设计师、作家等。普瑞特艺术学院在Best Regional Universities（North）排名中排到第19位，是艺术类院校中少有的能在该排行中排到前20位的美国大学。Pratt Institute在2016年U.S.News&Worl Report《美国新闻与世界报道》的艺术学院排名中排名第9。其创作艺术硕士（M.F.A）学位在2016年美国best collage网站的25 best MFA programs in the country中排名第三。

地理位置：主校区有25英亩，位于布鲁克林区。两个分校区位于犹蒂卡市和曼哈顿市。布鲁克林与曼哈顿两个校区都提供研究生的教学，且普瑞特是纽约唯一有校园的艺术学院。

课程设置：普瑞特艺术学院主要下设5个学院，分别为：建筑学院，艺术学院，设计学院，信息学院，文理学院，同时开设27个研究生硕士学位项目。

由于Pratt是19世界70、80年代建校的，距今已有100多年，所以整体的建筑风格是偏旧的老建筑

师生情况：Pratt有4700名学生来自全国各地和世界各地的聪颖而对艺术充满热情的青年。其中研究生有1700人，22%的研究生为国际学生。该学院的教师水平一流，包括在各自领域屡获殊荣的艺术家、建筑师、设计师、作家等，教师们所教的课程紧随时代发展且非常具有实践意义。一些教师能够为学生提供实习岗位，甚至还能够为学生提供就业机会。
