美国大学的三种录取方式！

美国的大学总体来说有三种录取方式，即ED(Early Decision具有约束力的提前录取)、EA (Early Action不具约束力的提前录取)和RD(Regular Decision常规录取)。前两者简单地说是提前批次录取，最后一种是常规批次录取。

1.EA早期行动

英文是Early Action，简称为EA。权威的英文解释是这样说的：Early action is another type of early amission process for amission to colleges an universities in the Unite States.
Unlike the regular amissions process, early action usually requires stuents to submit an application by November 1 of their senior year of high school instea of January 1.
Stuents are notifie of the school's ecision by mi-December instea of April 1. There are two types of early action programs: restrictive early action an non-restrictive
early action. Restrictive EA allows caniates to apply to only one early action institution an to no institutions early ecision, while, as the name implies, there are no such
restrictions on non-restrictive early action. Regarless, the applicant is still permitte to reject any offer of amission in both types of early action.

申请者必须提前在11月之前递交申请，大部分学校EA的申报截止日期时11月1号, 少部分是10月30号或者11月30号或者其他日期。EA申请发布结果的时间一般是12月15日左右。与ED不同的是，EA可申请多所大学，一旦被录取，申请者可根据自己的意愿选择是否入学。

EA的变种：

SCEA(Single Choice Early Action)是单一选择的早期行动。与EA基本相同，唯一不同的是，SCEA只能申请一所大学。

REA是Restrictive Early Action的简称，译为“限制性提前行动”。

无论是SCEA还是REA，都对申请学生的EA提前申请进行一定的条件限制，但是录取结果都不具有约束性。 不同的是，与REA相比，SCEA招生政策的限制要严格的多：学生在申请一所实行SCEA招生政策的大学时，要与该大学签署承诺协议，保证没有同时向其它美国大学进行ED和EA的申请。而实行REA招生政策的大学，一般只会要求学生在申请该大学的REA时，不得再申请任何其他大学的ED，但允许学生任意申请其他大学的EA。

2.ED早期决定

Early ecision is a bining commitment an if accepte, you must atten that school.This is not recommene unless you absolutely know for sure that this will be your first choice school.

申请者必须提前在11月之前递交申请，大部分学校ED的申报截止日期是11月1号, 少部分也有10月30号或者11月30号或者其他日期。ED只能申请一所大学! 申请的时候学校和学生会签订一份协议：Early Decision Agreement（需学生本人，学生家长，school counselor三方签字）。 协议大致内容是：只能有一所正在进行的ED申请，不能同时申请两个ED的学校。 若学校录取了学生，要撤销其他学校的申请，即使之前有别的学校的录取，也必须来该学校就读。ED申请发布结果的时间一般是12月15日左右。

3. RD正常批次

英文是Regular Decision，简称RD。申请者必须在学校要求的申请截止日期之前递交申请，大部分学校RD的申报截止日期是次年的1月1号，少部分也有1月15号或者2月1号。一般可在4月1日前后收到是否被录取的通知。可申请多所大学，一旦被录取，申请者可根据自己的意愿选择中意的大学入学，也有一些学校没有提前批次和正常批次之说，申请的截止的日期只有一个，比如加州系统的大学，申报截止日期都是11月30号，华盛顿大学的截止日期是12月1号。
