FRESHMAN ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP

Temple awars more than $100 million in scholarships each year, an many of our first-year stuents receive acaemic scholarships. There is no separate application require to be consiere for scholarships.

Acaemic Merit Scholarships

Eligibility

· To be consiere for an acaemic scholarship, submit a complete amission application by the Feb. 1 ealine.Late applicants might be consiere for an acaemic scholarship base on fun availability. 

· For scholarship purposes, a freshman applicant is efine as a current high school stuent who - will grauate prior to the start of the fall semester an will not earn any college creits after grauation.

· Scholarship notification will be mae no later than March 1 on TUportal.

· The nonrefunable tuition eposit must be submitte by May 1 in orer to secure a scholarship. A eposit mae later will cancel the scholarship.

· Acaemic merit scholarships are limite to eight consecutive semesters of full-time enrollment. The scholarship is guarantee for the first four consecutive semesters, at the en of which a minimum cumulative GPA must be achieve an maintaine in orer to renew the scholarship annually. Merit scholarships are esignate for tuition only. Specific etails will be provie in the stuent’s scholarship notification letter from the Office of Unergrauate Amissions.

· Stuents aware our full-tuition scholarship, the Presient’s Scholar Awar, may also apply for one $4,000 summer eucational enhancement stipen, to be use towar approve stuy away, research, internship or other acaemic activity.

Acaemic scholarships range from $3,000 to full tuition. The availability of funing an the size, quality an characteristics of the overall applicant pool will etermine the number an the value of acaemic scholarships aware.

Application/selection

No separate application require. Recipients are selecte by the Office of Unergrauate Amissions. 

学术奖学金资格

天普的奖学金其实不少但是基本都是针对本土的学生开放的，一些运动员，童子军之类的都有奖学金申请。
