美国STEM专业具体有哪些？

美国作为留学生的首选国家，不仅仅因为其杰出的教育资源和教学水平，更因其是世界上最大的经济体，创造了最多的就业机会。 据了解，2015财富500强中，美国有176家公司进入世界500强；除此之外，大多数华人移民美国的方式都是通过留学后找到工作，再申请绿卡的方式实现美国移民梦！ 本期，金吉列留学贵州分公司美国部经理程玲老师将详细解析美国就业移民的新政：美国留学 opt有望延期24个月！

为吸引优秀人才留在美国，美国通过不断改革移民法，为优秀人才留在美国创造合理全面适用政策的支持。美国现行的移民法中给予留学生最大的支持政策为：即使未拿到工作签证，所有国际留学生，无论什么专业，只要在美国完成任何阶段的大学教育（副学士/本科/硕士/博士），毕业后均可以申请到为期12月的带薪实习，即我们常说的opt， 有了这个opt，就可以在美国合法的开展全日制工作。其中，如果你的专业是stem﹙科学，技术，工程，数学﹚4大类专业中的任何一个，你还可以申请17个月的延期，加起来29个月。近日，美国移民局又出新招，有意将 opt延期24个月 ， 而opt本身也会有12个月，加起来总共 为 36个月 ！ 

这意味着什么呢？

金吉列留学卜老师介绍： 这项提议目前这个提议正在公示阶段，如获得审批通过，即使完全靠opt，留学生也可以在美国全职工作3年！除此之外，在opt期间，拿到还可以申请h1-b工作签证，在正式获得h1-b工作签证前，学生仍可以保持opt身份，而3年的opt时间无疑可以加大获得工作签证的几率。

补充说道： 通过这项政策的调整，我们可以看到的是美国对于高新技术人才的渴求程度是非常强烈的，因此，这类专业在美国就业移民的几率也是最大的，因此非常建议我们的广大留学生考虑stem四大类专业，包含了具体的415个专业，常见的有专业有：

为何美国要对stem专业人才青睐有加？

金吉列留学程玲老师答：据美国劳工部统计，截止到2018年，美国将产生12，000，000个与stem专业领域相关的工作岗位，而根据预计届时并没有如此多的毕业生能够填补岗位空缺。美国对stem专业领域的教育领先世界，这也是其在世界范围内保持科技创新的重要砝码，比如当前国际信息产业格局是美国拥有绝对的优势，它在全球的中央处理器、系统软件的产量占有绝大部分的份额，具有影响的全球性网络公司也大多设在美国。这一优势成为美国新经济的一个重要动力，也是美国经济在90年代持续增长的一个重要原因。信息和信息产业已经象核武器、尖端常规武器和经济实力一样，成为美国的重要的战略资源。因此，美国政府在移民法的框架下，多次通过一些具体的法令，特别是增加移民的签证数量，来吸引信息产业方面的高科技人才，效果十分突出。
