I am sure that you have been following the news about the sprea of the novel coronavirus originate in Wuhan, China.

The Government of Malaysia has issue a irective for all universities to postpone the registration of all stuents from Wuhan City an Hubei Province. However, stuents from other provinces in China are allowe to register for their stuies in Malaysia but with close monitoring by the university. Below is a summary of the various conitions set for stuents from China.

(1) Stuents from Wuhan City an Hubei Province: Restricte from entering Malaysia an registration will be postpone until further notice.

(2) Stuents from provinces/areas other than Wuhan an Hubei: If the Single Entry Visa has been obtaine, there is no restriction to enter Malaysia an register at Universiti Malaya. However, stuents will have to unergo close monitoring by the University.

(a) Stuents MUST register themselves at the 10th Resiential College upon their arrival at the university for screening an monitoring purposes by Stuent Health Clinic (SHC).

(a) New stuents who wish to efer their stuies to the next semester in September 2020 are allowe to o so. They will be require to reapply for the Visa Approval Letter (VAL) an cancel the current Single Entry Visa (SEV) obtaine.
